Youll work closely with learners to develop their reading skills, crafting engaging lessons rooted in district and state standards, and using data-driven instruction to meet every students needs.

Qualifications:

Active Pennsylvania teaching certificate and reading specialist certification Demonstrated mastery of reading instruction and curriculum resources Strong classroom and behavioral management abilities School-based experience, with proven success in an urban setting Reliable transportation for consistent onsite attendance Comfortable within district and community environment Ability to complete all required Pennsylvania clearances before start Experience designing differentiated lesson plans and assessing student progress Familiarity with K-8 elementary caseloads
