Key Qualifications:
Current licensure or certification in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) or Physical Therapy required Previous experience within school settings, particularly urban districts Familiarity with Pennsylvania clearance processes Reliable transportation is essential Must be comfortable working in urban school environments and adapting to dynamic student needs Ability to work onsite only, with coverage needed between 7:15AM and 4:00PM (non-negotiable schedule) Willing to commit full-time (35 hours per week) for the duration of the assignment (ASAP start through June 10, 2027) Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with students, staff, and district personnel
Role Responsibilities:
Deliver therapeutic services to students within assigned caseloads (elementary, middle grades, or high school) Participate in IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and collaborative planning Conduct assessments, implement interventions, and support student goals in accordance with district and state guidelines Maintain accurate documentation and clear communication with families and interdisciplinary teams Contribute to a positive, inclusive school culture, supporting student engagement and achievement District preference is for candidates excited to work 100% onsite.
