Job Description

Step into a rewarding role working with K-12 students in an urban educational environment as a dedicated Physical Therapist. This full-time, contract opportunity is perfect for professionals who are passionate about supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Intellectual Disabilities (ID), and thrive in dynamic school settings. Youll enjoy a manageable caseload and the chance to make a meaningful impact in students lives onsite, within a collaborative school community.
Qualifications:
Active and current Physical Therapy license/certification in Pennsylvania required Demonstrated experience working in school-based settings, particularly serving K-12 students Previous exposure to ASD and ID populations highly preferred Willingness to obtain all necessary PA clearances prior to start Comfort in supporting an urban student population and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams Familiarity with IEPs and educational documentation standards Must be able to provide licensure documentation upon submission
Key Responsibilities:
Provide physical therapy services to a small and focused caseload of K-12 students Develop and implement individualized treatment plans addressing motor and functional needs Participate in eligibility, IEP meetings, and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families Consult with classroom staff to accommodate student needs in low-incidental classroom settings Maintain accurate records and progress notes in compliance with state and school policies Work exclusively onsite, supporting students within their school environments
