What Were Looking For:

Current, active teaching license within the state of South Carolina (required) Certification in Middle Level Science or Science (no exceptions) Previous classroom teaching experience in general education or science preferred Strong classroom management skills and the ability to foster a positive and inclusive learning setting Commitment to supporting diverse learners and differentiating instruction as needed Excellent communication and collaborative skills

What Youll Do:

Deliver dynamic general education science instruction to middle school students in a supportive, engaging environment Develop lesson plans, hands-on activities, and assessments that align with curriculum standards Foster curiosity and enthusiasm for science among students Collaborate with fellow educators and staff to support the academic, emotional, and social needs of students Maintain accurate student records and communicate progress to parents and administration Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school community events

Position Details:

Full-time contract position, 37.5 hours per week, MondayFriday (7:15am2:45pm) School year runs ASAP through May 21, 2027 Caseload focused on middle school science This is your chance to positively impact students while developing your own skills as an educator.
