This contract opportunity is ideal for a dedicated Special Education Teacher who thrives on creating inclusive, supportive classrooms and values collaborative teamwork. Your expertise will help shape student success while you engage in meaningful responsibilities such as: Developing and implementing effective Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Applying expertise in IDEA, FAPE, and the Least Restrictive Environment (LRE) to adapt instruction and support student growth Conducting eligibility and IEP meetings with parents, staff, and related service providers Progress monitoring, data collection, and compliance documentation to ensure best practices Participating in case management and delivering specialized instruction for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, Emotional Behavioral Disorders (EBD), learning disabilities, intellectual and developmental disabilities, multiple disabilities, Down Syndrome, traumatic brain injury (TBI), or orthopedic impairments Collaborating with general education staff to facilitate integration and support of students Qualifications we value: Valid Special Education teaching credentials Experience with diverse populations, including students with mild to severe disabilities Familiarity with eligibility determination, behavioral interventions, and differentiated instruction strategies Strong communication skills for engaging families and multi-disciplinary teams Enjoy comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, plus competitive payall designed to support your well-being and recognize your commitment.
