$60,000-$66,000/year
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-3:30
PM Position:
Full-Time, On-Site Devereux Arizona is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our therapeutic school serving youth ages 5-17 with emotional, behavioral, and academic needs.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct, in-person classroom instruction Develop lesson plans aligned with Arizona State and Common Core Standards Monitor student progress and complete required reports Support students with academic, social, communication, and behavioral development Collaborate with classroom and school support staff
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field Arizona Special Education Certification required One year of Special Education teaching experience preferred Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card or eligibility to obtain one Valid Arizona Driver's License Paid two-week New Hire Orientation Teacher's Assistant support in the classroom Paid time off and sick time School holidays and breaks Tuition assistance and Teacher Loan Forgiveness Program Retirement benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance Employee Assistance Program and employee discounts If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of students and helping them reach their full potential, we encourage you to apply.
