Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Make an impact as a Special Education Teacher working with K-6th grade students in a Resource Specialist Program (RSP) environment. This contract opportunity places you in a supportive school setting near Los Altos, CA, where you'll collaborate closely with colleagues and play a pivotal role in your students' academic journeys. In this RSP classroom, you'll work with a manageable caseload of 13 students, supporting learners with diverse educational needs. The structured schedule runs from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm, providing a balanced workday and time to engage meaningfully with students.
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid Special Education Teaching credential Previous experience in K-6th grade settings preferred Familiarity with Resource Specialist Programs (RSP) and small-group instruction Strong collaboration and communication skills Ability to create individualized education plans (IEPs) and track student progress Compassionate, patient, and creative approach to teaching
Key Responsibilities:
