This full-time opportunity is ideal for an educator passionate about supporting students with diverse learning needs while making a meaningful impact throughout the school year.

Assignment Details Pay Rate:

$55-$61 per hour

Assignment Dates:

Immediate Openings through February 26, 2027 (end date subject to change)

Schedule:

Approximately 7.5 hours per day

Special Day Class (SDC) Position Overview The Special Education Teacher will provide specialized instruction and support to students in an upper elementary SDC classroom. The selected candidate will collaborate with school staff and families to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment while ensuring students make progress toward their educational goals. Responsibilities Provide direct instruction to students with mild to moderate disabilities Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Adapt curriculum and instructional methods to meet student needs Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and support staff Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports Participate in IEP meetings and parent conferences Foster a positive classroom environment that promotes academic and social-emotional growth Requirements Valid California Mild/Moderate Special Education Teaching Credential Ability to obtain a clear Live Scan report quickly Fingerprint clearance as required by California law TB clearance as required by California law Strong knowledge of special education laws, compliance, and IEP development Previous school-based experience preferred Why Supplemental Health Care?
