Job Description

Step into a meaningful contract opportunity as a Special Education Teacher serving students in a supportive educational environment for the 2026-2027 school year. This is a full-time, onsite position working 37.5 hours per week and offers you the chance to provide tailored instruction and impactful guidance to students who benefit most from your expertise. Qualifications:
Valid Special Education teaching credential required Prior experience in a school setting strongly preferred Strong classroom management and differentiation skills Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to meet students unique needs Provide direct instruction and adapt general education lessons for students with varied learning styles Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student success Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and IEP compliance Participate in ongoing professional development and team meetings This role allows you to inspire and effect real change in the lives of students while working alongside dedicated professionals.
