Make an Impact in South San Francisco | High School SPED Teacher Go Spindle - 2.5 South San Francisco, CA Job Details Full-time $35.34 - $50.34 an hour 6 days ago Qualifications Special Education Certification Full Job Description We are seeking an experienced Special Education Teacher to join a high school team in South San Francisco, CA for the first semester of the 2026-2027 school year . This position will provide coverage for a leave through approximately the end of January , with the possibility of extending through the remainder of the school year.

Number of Positions:
1 Responsibilities Provide specialized instruction to high school students with extensive support needs. Develop, implement, and monitor student IEP goals. Adapt curriculum and instructional materials based on individual student needs. Provide academic, functional, behavioral, communication, and life-skills support as appropriate. Monitor student progress and maintain required Special Education documentation. Collaborate with paraprofessionals, related-service providers, General Education teachers, families, and administrators. Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaboration. Requirements Active California CTC Education Specialist credential authorizing Moderate/Severe or Extensive Support Needs (ESN) . Experience working with students requiring extensive levels of support preferred. High school Special Education experience preferred. Compensation for this position ranges from $35.34 to $50.34.
