• Position Overview
• We are seeking a dedicated Transitional Kindergarten (TK) Teacher to foster the academic, social, and emotional growth of young children.

This role is essential in easing children into structured learning while building strong foundational skills through engaging, hands-on methods. The ideal candidate will have a deep commitment to working with children, demonstrating patience, creativity, and expertise in early education.

• Key Responsibilities
• Implement a dynamic program that supports the growth of young children academically, socially, and emotionally.
• Use hands-on teaching methods, including storytelling and educational play, to enhance learning.
• Provide strong early literacy instruction, focusing on essential skills such as reading readiness, phonemic awareness, decoding, and writing.
• Assess each child's progress to support their development and boost self-esteem.
• Facilitate positive interactions among children and help them resolve conflicts.
• Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment.
• Communicate regularly with parents about student development and conduct conferences as needed.
• Qualifications & Skills
• Strong background in early childhood education with experience in preschool or kindergarten.
• Proven ability to teach early literacy skills, including reading and decoding.
• Strong organizational and classroom management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Certification in child CPR or willingness to obtain it.
• Minimum of 12 core ECE units required Or 6 core ECE and enroll on the other core classes.

Pay:

From $26.00 per hour
