Key qualifications and experience desired:

Active or pending Colorado Department of Education (CDE) license (COOL accepted). Please ensure documentation is included with your application, as interviews cannot be arranged without it. Strong foundation in classroom management strategies, particularly within elementary education settings. Demonstrated experience supporting students with autism, utilizing individualized approaches to maximize success. Comfort working onsite in a collaborative school environment; this is not a virtual (VOCO) or hybrid position. Excellent communication and organizational skills to partner effectively with staff and families.

Primary responsibilities:

Deliver specialized instruction and support to resource caseload students at the elementary level, adapting curriculum and interventions according to individual education plans (IEPs). Foster a positive, inclusive classroom community that encourages student engagement and growth. Collaborate closely with general education teachers, specialists, and administrators to promote best practices and integrated learning experiences. Collect data, monitor progress, and contribute detailed reports for each student, ensuring compliance with IEP goals and district guidelines. Engage in ongoing professional development and school-based meetings to further enhance skills and contribute to the overall success of the learning community. This position is a full-time, onsite role spanning from ASAP through November 30, 2026, with a standard workweek of 40 hours (37.5 paid, 2.5 hours allocated for unpaid lunch).
