Key Qualifications:

Valid state-issued Special Education teaching license (please include a copy with your application) Experience working in schools as a Special Education Teacher, preferably in settings with significant support needs Strong classroom management and individualized instruction skills Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, communicate with families, and create an inclusive environment

Role Responsibilities:

Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each students unique academic and behavioral needs Utilize evidence-based instructional strategies for students in grades 6-8 Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation Build a positive, structured classroom culture that promotes engagement and emotional growth Collaborate closely with other teachers, related service providers, and support staff Foster meaningful connections with families to support each students ongoing progress
