What We're Looking For:
Active Delaware Special Education certification (please submit proof with your application) Experience as a Special Education Teacher in K-12 educational settings Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams Flexibility and adaptability in supporting learners across multiple locations within the district Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students unique needs
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging instruction to support students with diverse abilities district-wide Adapt curriculum and teaching methods to promote access and academic success for every learner Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment where all students can thrive Maintain consistent communication with caregivers, staff, and service providers Track and document student growth, progress toward IEP goals, and compliance with educational regulations This role begins as soon as possible and continues through June 2027, offering a stable and impactful long-term assignment.
