Qualifications and Experience:
Active Georgia Special Education License with Adaptive Curriculum certifications/endorsement (required) Previous experience as an Autism teacher or working with small groups of K-2 students, especially those who are non-verbal and have adaptive needs, strongly preferred Must be onsite onlyvirtual work is not available for this role
Role Responsibilities:
Teach and support a small classroom of K-2 students, most of whom are non-verbal with adaptive needs Develop and implement individualized lesson plans using best practices for adaptive curriculum Work closely with paraprofessionals, therapists, and other staff to create a positive, supportive learning environment Maintain detailed progress records and communicate regularly with families and team members
