What You'll Bring:
Valid GaPSC Teaching Certificate with both Special Education and General Education Endorsements for Pre-Kindergarten Experience in early childhood special education (preferred, but not required) Compassion, patience, and adaptability for working with non-verbal or minimally verbal children Ability to assist with toileting, feeding, and behavioral management Strong communication and teamwork skills to partner with families and colleagues
What You'll Be Doing:
Delivering individualized instruction and support for Pre-K students in the Special Education program Assisting children with basic needs such as toileting, diapering, and feeding Implementing behavioral support strategies and tracking student progress Collaborating with related service providers and general education staff Maintaining accurate documentation and participating in IEP meetings as needed Creating a safe, nurturing classroom where every student is included and valued This contract runs through May 21st, 2027, providing stability and time to build meaningful relationships with your students.
