Desired Qualifications:
Active Georgia SPED GaPSC Certification with SPED content through 8th grade Adapted Curriculum Endorsement preferred (pending credentials considered) Experience or comfort working in a self-contained, functional curriculum classroom Commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for high-needs students
Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging, adapted instruction to high school students in a lower-functioning, self-contained classroom Collaborate with two paraprofessionals and a Registered Behavior Technician daily Maintain a structured, supportive environment aligned with IEP goals Foster growth, independence, and life skills for all learners Coordinate with school leadership on communication and compliance
