Job Description

Dedicated Special Education Teachers are sought for a dynamic contract opportunity providing academic and developmental support to K-12 students with a diverse range of needs. This full-time position, commencing August 20, 2026 and extending through May 26, 2027, offers a rewarding chance to make a meaningful difference within a supportive educational setting. The role involves working onsite with a varied caseload that includes students with mild, moderate, severe, and medically fragile disabilities.
Required Qualifications:
Current Idaho State Teaching Certificate Idaho Exceptional Child Certificate Special Education endorsement Prior experience in environments supporting a diverse range of exceptionalities (including medically fragile and moderate-severe needs) Previous experience with ERC populations is highly valued Proficiency and comfort with toileting as well as personal care assistance Collaborative spirit for productive teamwork with staff, families, and related services Strong communication, adaptability, and planning skills
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized instruction based on IEP goals using evidence-based strategies Collaborate closely with general educators, therapists, and support staff Foster an inclusive, positive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and growth Monitor student progress and document data Effectively support students with a mix of disabilities, adapting interventions and supports as needs evolve Communicate regularly with families and participate actively in IEP meetings Attend and contribute to team and professional development sessions If you have a passion for working in special education and are eager to make an impact, this is your chance to work with a collaborative group dedicated to student success.
