Middle School:

Serving students with emotional disabilities

Middle School:

Supporting students with functional and life skills needs

Elementary:

Guiding students with emotional disabilities

Key Qualifications:

Current Kansas Special Education Certification (KS SPED Cert) required Experience working with students with emotional disabilities or functional/life skills needs Strong classroom management skills and adaptability Commitment to fostering an inclusive, nurturing environment Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Adapt lesson materials to meet each students unique needs Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and families Foster a positive, structured classroom environment where all students can thrive Regularly assess and document student progress, adjusting approaches as necessary This contract runs from immediate start through May 27, 2027, with a 37.5-hour workweek. Youll work onsite, building rapport with students and colleagues and truly impacting lives.
