Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking passionate and dedicated Teachers to Teach 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades and 6th, 7th and 8th grades and inspire and support learners across diverse age groups and educational needs. We have small class sizes with amazing smart children. In this vital role, you will create engaging lesson plans, foster a positive classroom environment, and implement individualized instruction to meet each student's unique developmental requirements. Your expertise will help students achieve their full potential through innovative teaching methods, effective classroom management, and collaborative engagement with colleagues and families. Responsibilities Develop and deliver dynamic lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, incorporating educational technology and instructional design principles. Adapt teaching strategies and instructional modifications to accommodate students with disabilities, including those with developmental disabilities, autism, visual impairments, or other special needs. Manage classroom behavior effectively using behavior management techniques tailored for students with diverse learning profiles. Collaborate with fellow teachers, specialists, therapists (such as speech therapy or behavioral therapy), and support staff to ensure comprehensive educational support. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress, IEP (Individualized Education Program) goals, and behavioral or academic concerns. Assess student learning through standardized testing, formative assessments, and ongoing observation to inform instruction. Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, IEP compliance, and instructional modifications in accordance with educational regulations. Qualifications Proven experience working with children or young adults in an educational setting; prior experience in special education is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of childhood development, literacy education, math instruction, early childhood education, preschool or toddler care is preferred. Familiarity with learning technology tools, instructional design, and educational compliance standards including special education law and IEP procedures. Exceptional communication skills for effective parent engagement and team collaboration. Ability to implement classroom management strategies that promote a safe, inclusive learning environment for all students. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges such as autism or visual impairments. Demonstrated ability to adapt lessons for students requiring individualized instruction or accommodations under special education guidelines. Relevant certifications or licenses in early childhood education or special education are advantageous; ongoing professional development is encouraged. $17.50 - $20.00 per hour
