We're seeking dedicated Special Education Teachers for both ASD and Therapeutic Programs, delivering services in well-resourced classrooms for a contract position. Opportunities Available:

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

Classroom:

Work alongside a team including speech-language pathologists, occupational and physical therapists, plus a social worker, with three paraprofessionals in your room. No toileting or lifting is required.

Therapeutic Program Classroom:

Guide up to ten students in a therapeutic, behavior-focused setting for elementary ages (K5). Collaborate with a supportive, hands-on team, with three paraprofessionals ensuring an optimal instructional environment.

What You'll Need:

Valid Michigan Special Education (SPED) Certification Previous experience with ASD populations for ASD Program preferred Experience in behavioral and therapeutic classroom settings preferred for Therapeutic Program Commitment to inclusive education and a student-centered approach

What Youll Do:

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs Foster student academic, social, and emotional growth within a supportive team Coordinate with paraprofessionals and related service staff to enhance student outcomes Participate in ongoing collaboration with multidisciplinary staff Track student progress using data-driven approaches, adapting instruction as needed
