Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a fulfilling opportunity as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist working with students in kindergarten through fifth grade. Key Qualifications:
Valid license as a Speech-Language Pathologist, with either CCC or eligibility for CFY Prior experience in a school-based SLP setting preferred Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation Strong communication and collaboration skills with teachers, staff, and families Commitment to supporting the academic and social-emotional development of K-5 students
Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, and implement individualized therapy for students in the K-5th grade range Manage a caseload of approximately 42 students with diverse speech and language needs Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and update IEPs Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with district and state guidelines Provide consultation and resources to teachers and support staff Foster an inclusive, encouraging atmosphere for all students You will play a key role in supporting students' ability to participate fully in their academic environment by helping them build effective communication skills.
