This contract opportunity runs through June 10, 2027, and focuses on the innovative "Ready, Set, Launch" program. Here, you'll work closely with students who have autism and unique developmental needs, supporting their growth in an elementary-level, center-based setting. What you'll bring: Valid MN Special Education Teacher license (Tier 3 or Tier 4 required) Strong passion for working with children with diverse developmental profiles, particularly autism spectrum disorders Previous experience in special education preferred, especially in early childhood environments Ability to collaborate within multi-disciplinary teams and communicate effectively with families and staff Adaptability, organization, and empathy in a classroom setting Key responsibilities: Plan, deliver, and adapt instruction for students within the "Ready, Set, Launch" and related programs Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Track student progress and maintain accurate records Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and district professionals to ensure comprehensive student support Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment where every learner has the opportunity to succeed This Full-Time position offers a consistent MondayFriday schedule (8:00 am 3:40 pm, 37.5 hours each week), allowing you to build meaningful connections with students and colleagues.
