This educational setting welcomes two experienced Special Education Teachers to deliver impactful services to middle school studentsplus some elementary grade K-8 involvement. Both full-time (40 hours/week, 8:00am 4:30pm) and part-time options are available, allowing you to tailor your schedule while making a difference each day. As a Special Education Teacher, your expertise will be utilized providing both pull-out instruction and inclusion support, focusing on students behavioral and academic growth. Your work will be guided by a commitment to helping students overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.
Desired Qualifications:
Active Tier 3 or 4 Special Education license issued by the state of Minnesota Previous experience working with middle school and elementary students in special education settings Strong knowledge of behavior intervention strategies and academic supports Skilled at delivering both inclusion services and individualized pull-out lessons Adept at maintaining clear and positive communication with students, staff, and families Ability to adapt instruction to meet varied learning styles and needs
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver individualized and group instruction for students with IEPs Collaborate closely with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff Monitor student progress and adjust interventions based on data and student response Maintain accurate documentation and uphold compliance with all special education requirements Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development and implementation of personalized plans In this W2 contracted position, youll benefit from comprehensive healthcare coverage.
