This contract role offers a chance to make a meaningful difference as a Paraprofessional specializing in Special Education. Youll work closely with individual students and small groups, providing tailored academic, behavioral, and emotional support. This position runs from ASAP through June 3, 2027, with consistent daytime hours from 8:30 AM 4:00 PM for a total of 37.5 hours per week.

Key Qualifications:

Completion of the ParaPro Assessment Test, or at least 60 college credit hours, or an Associates Degree is required Previous experience supporting students with special education needs, including behavioral and academic support, is highly preferred Comfort working 1:1 with students as well as in small group settings across K-8th grade levels Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and a commitment to helping children succeed Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, therapists, and other school staff

Role Responsibilities:

Provide direct support to students with diverse learning and behavioral needs Assist with the implementation of individualized education programs (IEPs) Reinforce instructional material, encourage positive behaviors, and offer guidance during transitions and daily activities Maintain accurate data and communication logs as needed Partner with educators and parents to promote student progress within both 1:1 and small group contexts In addition to making an impact, youll work under a W2 hourly contract and earn $22$24 per hour.
