9685563-55110 Job Description Take on a rewarding opportunity supporting a dedicated special education team within an elementary school environment. This full-time contract position spans from November 1, 2026, through February 15, 2027, with a schedule of 7:20 am to 3:20 pm, Monday through Friday, totaling 37.5 hours each week. Youll work in a cluster classroom alongside three paraprofessionals, providing tailored support to a group of approximately ten students.

Key Qualifications:

Valid Special Education Teaching license (Minnesota) Demonstrated experience in DCD (Developmental Cognitive Disabilities) and ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) center-based classrooms Ability to collaborate effectively with paraprofessionals and other support staff Excellent communication and classroom management skills Strong commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive learning environment

Responsibilities:

Deliver specialized instruction and adapt curriculum to meet the diverse needs of students in a cluster setting Create and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal guidelines Effectively supervise and coordinate with three paraprofessionals to optimize instruction and classroom support Foster a positive, structured, and nurturing environment that ensures student safety and engagement Track and report on student progress, maintaining all necessary documentation Engage in regular communication with families and interdisciplinary teams to support student growth This role is fully on-site, with no hybrid or virtual options, allowing you to fully engage with students and staff and make a direct, meaningful impact in the classroom each and every day.
