Job Description

Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Ignite your passion for supporting learners by stepping into a valued Special Education teaching role focused on making a positive difference. This is a contract opportunity beginning in late August 2026 and running through early June 2027, with a full-time, Monday through Friday schedule, located near Osseo, MN. You'll be working in a setting III/centerbase environment, providing essential instruction and guidance in a LAUNCH program designed to support diverse student needs. Collaborate with a dedicated educational team to deliver individualized learning plans and cultivate an inclusive classroom community.
Desired Qualifications:
Active Minnesota Special Education Teacher license at Tier 3 or Tier 4 required Previous experience in special education settings, particularly setting III or centerbase, is advantageous Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to manage diverse caseloads and adapt instructional strategies Commitment to fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to student strengths and needs Provide direct instruction to students with varied abilities, ensuring access to appropriate educational resources Collaborate closely with general education teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success Maintain accurate documentation and progress monitoring Participate in professional development and team meetings as required Support positive behavioral interventions and promote student growth This role offers the chance to make a significant impact while working with a vibrant, supportive team committed to student achievement.
