Category Schools - Paraprofessional Job Type Contract Take on a rewarding contract opportunity as an Educational Support Professional (ESP/Paraprofessional), providing vital support to students across multiple school settings near Osseo, MN. This full-time position runs district-wide and welcomes professionals excited to work in 1:1 support, center-based, or resource programs. Multiple openings are available with immediate start, continuing through the end of the 2026-2027 school year. Your expertise will help foster inclusive, supportive learning environments while encouraging student growth and success in both academic and social settings. Qualifications & Desired Experience Valid state paraprofessional certification or ability to meet state requirements is essential. Background working with K-12 students—either one-on-one or within specialized/classroom support roles—is highly preferred. Adaptability to adjust techniques and communication style when supporting diverse student needs. Collaborative mindset to partner with teachers, specialists, and other school staff. Strong communication skills for engaging respectfully and effectively with students, families, and colleagues. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and fostering a safe, supportive school culture. Key Responsibilities Provide direct instructional or behavioral assistance to individual students or within small groups. Support classroom routines, transitions, and student engagement in both general education and specialized programs. Implement accommodations and modifications as directed by lead teachers or special education teams. Assist with monitoring student progress and documenting relevant data. Encourage student independence and provide positive reinforcement. Maintain a professional and compassionate presence throughout the school day.
