Key Qualifications:

Valid Minnesota Teaching Certification (required for consideration; Tier 3 or Tier 4) Experience or strong interest in serving students with developmental cognitive disabilities (DCD) Ability to create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Skilled in adapting instruction, tracking student progress, and collaborating with related service providers and families Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Organized, self-motivated, and adept at problem-solving in a dynamic environment

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct instructional support to students with DCD across a variety of settings Develop, adapt, and implement individualized education programs based on student needs Maintain thorough, compliant documentation including IEPs, progress reports, and communication logs Collaborate effectively with educators, support staff, and families Foster a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and required reporting activities This role offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, approximately 8:30am-4:30pm (37.5 hours weekly, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch), running from late August to early June.
