Lead Full-Time Montessori Teachers A Little Journey Montessori School — Bozeman, MT About the

Role:

A Little Journey Montessori is seeking experienced, full-time Lead Teachers to guide one of our classrooms — Nido (infant) or Pre-Primary (toddler). We are looking to fill one position in each classroom. This is a hands-on leadership role in the classroom: you'll set the tone, run the environment, and be the steady, trusted adult our families rely on every day.

What You'll Do:

Serve as Lead Teacher for your classroom, overseeing daily routines, lesson planning, and classroom environment. Guide and mentor assistant teachers within your room. Build strong, trusting relationships with children and families. Maintain a prepared, orderly Montessori environment aligned with best practices. Communicate regularly with parents on their child's progress.

What We're Looking For:

Prior experience as a Lead Teacher or in a similar leadership classroom role. Montessori certification preferred, but not required for the right candidate. Strong classroom management and communication skills. A calm, confident, and nurturing presence with young children. Reliability and a genuine commitment to early childhood education. A Little Journey Montessori School nurtures every child's natural love of learning in a warm, prepared environment from infancy through kindergarten.
