Manage classroom behavior through positive behavior management techniques tailored for students with special needs and developmental disabilities. Conduct ongoing assessments of student progress using standardized testing and observational data to inform instruction and update IEPs. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to share student achievements, address concerns, and foster strong home-school partnerships. Integrate educational technology tools to enhance learning experiences and facilitate differentiated instruction for diverse learners. Skills Proven experience working with children with disabilities, including autism spectrum disorders, developmental disabilities, and neurodevelopmental disorders. Strong knowledge of special education law, IEP development, instructional modifications, and behavior management strategies. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues, families, and external professionals. Skilled in curriculum development across literacy education, math, early childhood education, and preschool settings. Ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively while maintaining a nurturing environment conducive to learning. Experience in early intervention programs and working with students with neurodevelopmental challenges. Proficiency in educational technology integration to support diverse learning needs. Demonstrated ability to mentor junior staff or teaching assistants while fostering a team-oriented atmosphere.
