Working weekdays from 7:30am to 3:00pm (approximately 35 hours per week), you'll split your time between co-teaching in general education classrooms and providing focused instruction through push-in/pull-out resource support.

Key Qualifications:

Valid New York State Teaching License for K-5 Teacher of Students with Disabilities Experience working with 4th and 5th graders in inclusion and/or resource settings Knowledge of IEP development and implementation Ability to collaborate effectively with general education staff Strong communication and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver differentiated instruction in both inclusion/co-teaching and resource (pull-out/push-in) settings Adapt lessons and materials to support individual student needs and foster academic growth Maintain ongoing communication with families and collaborate closely with colleagues and support staff Document student progress, update IEP goals, and participate in CSE meetings as needed Foster a positive and supportive classroom climate where all students can thrive This position offers competitive hourly pay from $38.58 to $52.76, providing recognition for your expertise and dedication to student success.
