Job Description

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

Valid New York State Special Education Certification (Required) Previous experience working in inclusive classroom environments Demonstrated ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) Strong communication and collaboration skills Enthusiasm for teaching elementary students with diverse needs

Responsibilities:

Deliver specialized instruction to students in an inclusive, elementary setting Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to design and implement effective IEPs Foster a positive and adaptive learning atmosphere for all students Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed Engage in regular communication with parents, team members, and school personnel
