Responsibilities include:

Delivering specialized instruction to students with severe disabilities in a self-contained setting Developing and implementing lesson plans tailored to individual IEPs Adapting curriculum and teaching methods to a variety of learning needs Monitoring, documenting, and reporting progress toward IEP goals Fostering growth in academic, functional, behavioral, and daily living skills Collaborating closely with general and special education colleagues, administrators, and related service providers Participating actively in IEP meetings and contributing to actionable student plans Communicating regularly with families and school staff regarding progress and supports Maintaining a safe, positive, and supportive classroom atmosphere Qualifications sought: Valid South Carolina SPED certification required Experience in severe disabilities settings or working with diverse learners preferred Strong understanding of IEP process and documentation Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills Resilient, patient, and compassionate approach to education Ability to quickly adapt and respond to student and classroom needs This contract position starts immediately, offering the opportunity to make an impact right away within a supportive educational community.
