With a manageable caseload of eleven students, youll deliver targeted instruction and interventions that foster both academic and personal growth.

Key Qualifications:

Current certification as a Special Education Teacher (required) Prior experience teaching in self-contained or multi-categorical settings strongly preferred Adept at developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) Strong classroom management and communication skills Collaborative spiritcomfortable working with paraprofessionals, parents, and related service providers

Role Responsibilities:

Design and deliver engaging lessons that accommodate various learning styles and needs within the self-contained classroom Monitor student progress and update IEPs to ensure academic and social growth Create a supportive, inclusive, and structured classroom atmosphere Differentiate instruction and implement behavior management strategies as needed Partner with grade-level teams, administrators, and families to achieve student success This position offers a schedule of 37.5 to 40 hours per week and welcomes candidates who can start as soon as possible.
