Valid Tennessee teaching license required 459 Endorsement essential for eligibility CDC certification to support specialized student needs Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher in a school setting highly valued Solid understanding of best practices for PreK early childhood development

Primary Responsibilities:

Lead a self-contained PreK classroom, designing and delivering individualized instruction to meet diverse learning needs Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with a range of abilities Foster a supportive, inclusive atmosphere to encourage positive social, emotional, and academic growth Collaborate with paraprofessionals, related service providers, and families to maximize student achievement Maintain compliance with state special education guidelines and proper documentation of progress and services Utilize a variety of instructional tools and adaptive resources to facilitate learning
