Valid Delaware Paraeducator Permit in hand (pending permits must include a DEEDS portal screenshot) Experience as a school-based paraprofessional or similar role preferred Flexibility and enthusiasm for rotating between school sites and adapting to varying schedules Commitment to fulfilling scheduled hours and reliability for daily assignments Willingness to cover various educational levels, from early childhood to high school Professionalism and dedication to maintaining a positive learning environment Able to complete $85 CBC fingerprinting requirement In this dynamic position, your responsibilities will include: Acting as a floater, supporting staff and students at multiple assigned schools Assisting students in classroom and small-group settings Collaborating with teachers and staff to implement instructional and behavioral supports Maintaining daily flexibility to respond to staffing needs and schedule changes Providing attentive supervision, encouragement, and guidance to students Upholding school and district policies and procedures Enjoy reliable guaranteed hours during school weeks35 hours per week when schools are in session (or proportionate pay for short weeks)even if not assigned daily. Schedules generally follow standard school days, with potential assignments in both primary and secondary settings, offering valuable experience in a variety of environments.
