Key Qualifications:

Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) is essential Previous experience as a Paraprofessional in a school setting is highly preferred Ability to build rapport with elementary-aged students Team player who collaborates well with teachers and therapists Compassion, reliability, and a positive attitude EIPA certification not required for this position

What Youll Do:

Provide direct ASL support to an elementary student throughout the school day Facilitate communication and understanding between the student, their peers, and staff Assist with academic tasks and classroom participation, ensuring the students needs are met Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment Reinforce classroom rules and behavioral expectations Collaborate with educators and service providers to promote the students academic and social success
