Job Summary We are seeking energetic and compassionate Summer Camp Assistants to join our team! In this role, you will help create a fun, safe, and enriching summer experience for children. Your enthusiasm and dedication will support our campers' growth through engaging activities, supervision, and positive guidance. Ideal candidate must be Deeds certified with School Age Intern or Higher OR ECE Duties Supervise children during camp activities, ensuring safety and engagement at all times Assist with classroom management to promote positive behavior and cooperation among campers Lead or support sports, arts, or other recreational activities tailored to various age groups Provide basic first aid when necessary and follow safety protocols diligently Support children with special education needs or behavioral challenges with patience and understanding Collaborate with team members to plan and execute age-appropriate educational and recreational programs Experience Prior experience working with children in daycare, camp, tutoring, or childcare settings is preferred Knowledge of childhood development, behavior management, and early childhood education techniques is advantageous Certifications in first aid and CPR are highly desirable Background working in a school age or camp environment Demonstrated ability to manage classrooms or group activities effectively and responsibly Working outdoors and attending fieldtrips Join us this summer to make a meaningful impact on young learners' lives!
