Job Description

Bring your passion for supporting students to a rewarding opportunity serving a vibrant elementary school community. Paraprofessionals are needed for fulfilling, hands-on roles where you can make a daily impactwhether working one-on-one with students in instructional settings or assisting across general education classrooms. These contract roles are full time, running through the late spring school year, and offer a chance to work closely with dedicated educators and engaged learners. Successful candidates will support students with a range of academic and functional needs, some involving behavioral supports. Your day could span from providing individualized assistance in a semi self-contained classroom, working with a third-grader, to supporting a kindergarten student with behavioral plans, to offering inclusive support throughout various K-5 classrooms. Flexibility and a commitment to student dignity, including providing toileting support when necessary, are key attributes.
Qualifications:
Valid IL Paraprofessional (Para) License required Previous experience in a school or educational setting preferred Comfortable collaborating with diverse student populations and age groups (K-5) Able to provide toileting assistance when needed Clear background check mandatory; candidates with any record concerns will not be considered
Responsibilities:
Provide direct support to students in both self-contained and inclusive classroom settings Collaborate with teachers and other staff to implement accommodations and behavioral interventions Participate in school day routines from 8:15 AM to 3:30 PM, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch Maintain a positive, proactive presence to maximize student participation and well-being If you're ready for an onsite role where every day brings meaningful interactions, submit your resume today.
