Job Description

Make a meaningful impact supporting students in a school environment, working as a contract paraprofessional throughout the academic year. You'll provide vital instructional and behavioral support in both resource and center-based classroom settings, collaborating daily with educators and specialists. These roles offer a weekly schedule of 33.75 hours, running through the end of the 2026-2027 school year. Step into a rewarding position where your dedication and care can make a lasting difference.
Desired Skills & Experience:
Minimum of one year of paraprofessional experience in a school setting. High school diploma or equivalent required. Must meet at least one qualification pathway:
  • Two years of college credits (60 semester credits or more) from an accredited institution,
  • Associate degree or higher, or
  • Achieved a passing score on the ParaPro Assessment (minimum score of 455) or ParaEducator exams (65% Instructional Support, 70% Knowledge and Application).
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to foster positive relationships with students and staff. Flexibility to support both resource and center-based caseloads.
Responsibilities:
Assist teachers with instructional activities and reinforce learning objectives. Support students with academic, social, and behavioral needs in various classroom settings. Implement accommodations and modifications as outlined in student plans. Supervise students during transitions, lunch, recess, or other activities as assigned. Maintain a positive, inclusive, and productive classroom environment.
