What You Bring:
Active Minnesota PELSB Special Education Teaching License (Tier 1 or 2 accepted; preference given to Tier 3 or 4) Licensure in Emotional or Behavioral Disorders (EBD) required Proven experience working with elementary-aged students in a special education setting Strong commitment to individualized instruction, student advocacy, and creating inclusive learning spaces Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with staff, students, and families Flexibility and dedication to student needs as enrollment and caseload may vary
Role Highlights:
Provide specialized instruction and support to a center-based elementary caseload of approximately 11 students (numbers may fluctuate) Assess, plan, and deliver individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students' unique emotional and behavioral needs Collaborate with a team of educators, therapists, and administrative staff to foster student growth Maintain thorough documentation and compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines Engage with families and caregivers to support student goals and create a positive school experience
