We are seeking six adaptable, positive professionals to support classrooms and students with special needs throughout a large district near Elk River, MN. These contract opportunities ensure a minimum of 30 hours per week (guaranteed during weeks when school is in session M-F). Youll serve as a vital member of a regional crew, covering callouts and stepping in wherever support is neededwhether one-on-one or as a classroom aide. This role puts you at the heart of daily school life, assisting students with behavioral needs, following Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), lending a hand with toileting if needed, and fostering a welcoming, productive environment. Youll connect, collaborate, and learn alongside diverse teams, supporting a range of elementary, middle, and high school students.

Desired Qualifications:

Highly Qualified paraprofessional status (by passing MN Para Educator Exam OR having at least 60 college creditstranscript required) Prior school-based and behavioral support experience Reliable transportation; willingness to commute to various sites within the district Comfortable assisting with toileting and managing a range of student behaviors Adaptable and energetic with excellent communication skills

Role Responsibilities:

Provide classroom and one-on-one student support across multiple schools Collaborate with teachers, staff, and supervisors to maintain consistent care and engagement strategies Implement BIPs and behavior management techniques as needed Fill in for staff as called and respond flexibly to daily assignments from your assigned crew supervisor
