Key Qualifications:

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide specialized instruction tailored to students with developmental cognitive disabilities Develop and carry out Individual Education Plans (IEPs) based on each student's unique needs Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet diverse learning requirements Collaborate with other educators, therapists, and parents to support student progress Track and document student growth, maintaining accurate records Employ evidence-based practices to promote cognitive, social, and behavioral development Foster a positive, encouraging classroom climate This position runs from late August 2026 to early June 2027, with a weekly commitment of 37.5 hours. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday, roughly 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, including a 30-minute unpaid lunch each day. The caseload is focused, typically around nine students, providing the opportunity for meaningful, individualized support.
