What you'll bring: At least one year of experience working as a paraprofessional in a school setting High school diploma or equivalent One of the following qualification pathways: Completion of two years of college (60 semester credits) from an accredited institution An associates degree or higher Passing score on a recognized basic skills assessment, such as the ParaPro Assessment (455 or better) or ParaEducator assessments (65% for Instructional Support and 70% for Knowledge and Application) Commitment to supporting students with diverse needs in a middle school resource classroom Passion for fostering a positive, inclusive educational environment Key responsibilities: Provide instructional and behavioral assistance to students in collaboration with certified staff Support students in accessing curriculum and classroom activities Assist with the implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and educational modifications Encourage positive social interactions and emotional growth Maintain effective communication with teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive approach This contract role offers a structured, predictable schedule, meaningful work within education, and the opportunity to make a daily difference in young students lives.
