We are seeking an energetic and compassionate Classroom Assistant to support our elementary program for grades kindergarten thru 2nd grade. In this role, you will work closely with teachers to create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes literacy, numeracy, social-emotional development, and overall well-being. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help shape meaningful learning experiences for children while ensuring a safe and nurturing space. Assist the teacher with lesson planning and implementing educational activities aligned with curriculum standards Support children's literacy and math development through engaging, hands-on activities Manage classroom behavior using positive behavior management techniques to foster a respectful environment Provide individualized attention to students with diverse needs, including those with autism or disabilities Help maintain a clean, organized classroom environment conducive to learning and play Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to promote a collaborative atmosphere In addition, you will hold a key role in our after school program, working with students one on one during homework time and creating inviting centers for them after. Be a key employee in running our summer camps for students ages 6 to 9 years of age. Experience in education or preschool settings is highly desirable Strong understanding of childhood development principles and early childhood education strategies Proficiency in lesson planning, curriculum development, and classroom management techniques Ability to work effectively with children of varying abilities and backgrounds Excellent communication skills to engage with students, families, and colleagues Knowledge of behavior management strategies and working with individuals with autism or disabilities Familiarity with literacy education, math instruction, and childcare best practices Prior classroom experience in private schools or daycare environments is a plus Join us in making a difference every day by supporting young learners on their educational journey!
