Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and energetic Preschool Associate Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will be instrumental in creating a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment for young children. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help foster their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. You will work closely with children, parents, and fellow educators to deliver high-quality preschool experiences that promote curiosity, learning, and growth. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that incorporate early childhood education best practices, including literacy education, math skills, physical activity, and social-emotional learning. Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and positive behavior management. Support children's developmental milestones through tailored activities focused on childhood development principles and early intervention strategies. Maintain clear communication with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and classroom activities to foster strong partnerships. Manage classroom routines efficiently while ensuring compliance with mandated reporting laws and child welfare standards. Conduct classroom assessments using standardized testing methods when appropriate to monitor progress and inform instruction. Collaborate with colleagues to plan lessons that incorporate child development instruction, special education needs, and inclusive practices for diverse learners. Ensure all safety protocols are followed by maintaining first aid and CPR certifications and adhering to health guidelines. Experience Prior experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting is highly preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of early childhood education principles, including curriculum development and classroom management techniques. Experience with special education or early intervention programs is advantageous. Proven ability to communicate effectively with young children, parents, and team members using strong communication skills. Classroom experience involving preschool teaching enhances your candidacy. Pay:
$13.00 - $14.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 per week
