Responsibilities Supervise children during after-school hours, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Facilitate engaging youth group activities, including arts and crafts, sports, games, and educational projects Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement and effective behavior management techniques Assist with homework help, tutoring, or educational support tailored to individual student needs Support outdoor activities and supervise children during outdoor play, ensuring safety protocols are followed Maintain a clean and organized activity space, adhering to health and safety standards such as first aid protocols and CPR procedures Collaborate with team members to plan age-appropriate programs that promote childhood development and social skills Requirements Prior experience working with children in educational, childcare, camp, or youth program settings is highly preferred Knowledge of classroom management strategies and behavior management techniques Certification in first aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain upon hire) is required; AED operation knowledge is a plus Ability to work outdoors comfortably in various weather conditions during outdoor activities Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members Demonstrated enthusiasm for youth development programs combined with a proactive attitude toward child supervision and safety This position is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about working with children and eager to foster a positive learning environment.
