The primary goal is to enhance the student's oral communication skills, including public speaking, articulation, and confidence in expressing ideas. Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging lesson plans focused on improving the student's oral expression and public speaking skills. Provide personalized feedback to help the student build confidence and clarity in communication. Create a supportive and encouraging environment to foster the student's growth. Track and communicate the student's progress to parents/guardians. Adapt teaching methods to suit the student's learning style and needs. Qualifications Experience in teaching or tutoring, preferably in speech, communication, or related fields. Strong understanding of effective public speaking and oral communication techniques. Ability to connect with and motivate middle school-aged students. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Reliable transportation to the student's home in Pasadena, CA (91106). Bachelor's degree in education, communication, or a related field (preferred but not required). Schedule Twice per week, with flexible scheduling to be coordinated with the family. Each session is expected to last 1-1.5 hours.
