Job Description

Hello Job Seekers! We are looking for part time teachers and field trip docents. Must be available at least Monday, Tuesday and Thursday between the hours of 8:30am-1:00pm. Hours available are between 15-25 hours/week depending on scheduling. This position will require a mix of teaching at our Tustin Center and other partner locations located in Costa Mesa and Tustin. More hours available depending on staff schedules. This is a great position to: gain classroom teaching and management skills in Elementary and Middle Schools classes guiding students through hands-on projects and field trip experiences make an impact on youth build up your resume! have fun teaching! Don't have experience in STEM education but love to work with youth? No problem! We will train you on our awesome curriculum. Brain Builders STEM Education has been serving the community since 2002. Through our program we strive to inspire kids about engineering through our many STEM programs. Our vision is to empower students to think independently and achieve their goals. Qualifications:

Must love to work with children grades k-8th Outspoken and be able to communicate clearly while leading a field trip of students
LEAD Teachers - At least 1 year class room management experience required Able to learn our curriculum
Energetic and professional
Able to have fun with students at the same time maintaining class rules
Great communication skills
A great problem solver
Positive morals and values
Have reliable transportation to drive to school sites and to store teaching materials
All instructors will be fingerprinted and TB tested
Must be within 20 minute driving distance to sites

Hours & Pay:

$20.50-$25.00 per hour(DOE) This is a part time job that is great for students or people looking for teaching experience and love working with children!
